Gamification of the Mathematics Classroom

Great idea about using the flipped classroom and gamification to tap into student’s interests in video games.  This is something I am interested in and want to look into as I head into the summer.  Love it!

Some things I have picked up with my quick research:

Check out James Paul Gee – interesting take on gamification.

Idea: Teams vs. Individuals (Keep a leaderboard = competition / effort / buy-in / accountability)
